Located on an 84-acre river tract of land near the Weber River, the fort symbolizes a period of western history that was the transition from nomadic ways of the Indian tribes and trappers to the first permanent settlers in the Great Basin. Treehouse Children's Museum is a hands-on museum that invites children, families, and schools, to "step into a story."™ Treehouse has a beautiful, new facility with a giant, 30-foot-tall tree at its center. Around the tree, on two levels, are exhibits that share stories from our community, our country, and from around the world. Programming encourages children and adults to learn more, star in a story on stage, develop vocabulary, and appreciate cultures.
